MEET THE FOUNDERS

Mr. Jeremy Sisson, MBA & Mrs. Briana Sisson are the co-founders of the Central Florida-based The Exchange Orlando, which is a Faith-based ministry whose mission is to connect Christian singles for a Kingdom purpose.  They partner with local churches to host purpose-filled events that bring single Christians under one roof in a relaxed, pressure-free social atmosphere.

They are known for their generous acts of kindness and giving to their friends, their family, their church and the community-at-large.  They have a combined twelve years experience in hosting over 40+ purpose-filled events.  Both Mr. & Mrs. Sisson are active members of their church in Windermere.  He is a leader on their security team and is also the Athletic Director and a team coach for their Sports Ministry program.

She is the Assistant Director of their Hospitality Ministry and has helped grow their team for the last five years.  While the Exchange Orlando is a calling of theirs, it is not the only ministry and/or non-profit which they have either started or have led.  Please read their bios below and they both look forward to meeting you at their next event.

About her:

Mrs. Sisson is the founder of the non-profit, the Street Team Movement, (streetmovement.org), which provides hygiene services and remedial aid to the homeless in Downtown Orlando. Before starting it, she spent a month living on the streets to find out the true needs of the homeless.  She came away from the experience realizing that one simple thing most homeless people craved was dignity.  She recognized that it’s hard to feel like you have dignity when you have nowhere to wash your clothes or yourself.

To date, Street Team Movement has helped over thousands of people wash over 42,000 loads of clothes and passed out over 50,000 hygiene items.  They have been recognized by over seventeen media outlets - NPR, the Steve Harvey Show, The Atlantic Magazine, Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Weekly, News 6, Channel 9, Central Florida Lifestyle, Orlando Magazine, Orlando Waterhole Podcast, Caribbean American Radio, Atlanta Morning Inspiration, and WMFE, to name a few.

Mrs. Sisson was recognized for her efforts in the community, as well.  She was named 2016 Public Citizen of the Year by the National Association of Social Workers, she received the Good Samaritan Award from Starwood Vacation Ownership four times, was named one of 2016’s ONYX Magazine’s Women on the Move, the Guys With Ties Philanthropy 2017 Influencer Award, the News 6 Getting Results Award and was a finalist in Allstate Renewal Awards.  To date, she has spoken on multiple panels and keynote at Embry Riddle University, University of Tampa, University of Central Florida, Rollins College Master Program for Social Entrepreneurship and for the Orange County Public Schools.
